I asked my mom to be my Valentine
Everyone says their mom is the best, and I’m no different. My mom has been through so much, from Malignant Melanoma to our family struggling financially. Her and my dad have tried their hardest to give my brother and I every opportunity possible. My mom is an immigrant from India; she gave up everything she knew to venture to America and give her kids a chance at a better life. What do I give the woman for Valentine’s Day who has given me everything?
My mom hasn’t bought new jewelry in the longest time. I partnered with Michael Hill to give my mom the Valentine’s Day she deserves. Buying jewelry is tough, so many options and there is always the concern of ordering online and not getting what you ordered. With Michael Hill, I knew I was in good hands. I scoured their site and found these beautiful ruby earrings.
I got the earrings in the mail, and they looked amazing. Wasn’t sure on how big the earrings would be, but think the size is great. The way the reflect when light hits. My mom loves the color red, so the red earrings are perfect for her.
I surprised my mom a little early (obviously). She. Loved. Them. They look beautiful on her. It made me happy to see her happy. My brother is getting her a spa certificate, and we will be taking her to dinner next time we are all together. Valentine’s Day will be a success.
Now it’s your turn, my 3 favorite items under $100
Unless you’re going to pop the question, I stay away from rings. Earrings and necklaces are my go to.
I’m normally not a huge fan of heart jewelry but I really the infinity sign through the heart.
