Kickstarter is an awesome tool that helps startup companies raise money. I have scoured the site and found three campaigns that have either been funded, or nearly funded, that you should know about. Be on the lookout and get into them while they are starting off! Be on the lookout for more Kickstarter updates!
Bow and Stern Watches
They make beautiful watches and to make it as personal as possible, they make 30 different variations of their watches. Below I picked my top three. From left to right: Castaway- Brown Leather, Catalina- Black Leather, Havana- Tan Leather. Each watch is $184.95 which is a great price. On top of that, they have a lifetime warranty. Reading what it excludes though makes it sounds like it’s not really a lifetime warranty at all but it’s still a solid deal. Pre-order your Bow and Stern Watch here.
So a student athlete named Lamar Letts had health issues that caused his athletic career at Northwestern University to come to an end. From this unfortunate event, a new sports drink was created. I had the pleasure of drinking some, it’s delicious. I drank one during the gym and I felt great. The taste is great, I tried Mixed Berry and I really liked it. I don’t fully know how to explain all the science behind it (I really should, I’m a biochem major for crying out loud). This diagram does a really good job at explaining how it compares to other well-known sports drinks. It is pricey though, a 2 sampler pack will run you $10 and a $2.99 shipping fee. Honestly, I really like it. I think they should partner with Complete Nutrition and see if they can get that price down. Order some here, I would suggest Mixed Berry!
Sockstash promotes something that I love, everyone’s uniqueness and individuality. There are ten days to go and they have already almost doubled their goal. Also, every purchase comes with an equal donation by them to the L.A. LGBT Youth Center for Homeless Teens. I love their hot sauce socks! Their socks are super comfy, great price, and you’re supporting a great cause. The cherry on top is that you can wear Kanye on your feet 🙂
