What is it about sizes that vary so much from one company to another? Who knows, but if you’re a medium at one store it doesn’t always mean you’re a medium at another. It’s such an annoyance to buy something then have to exchange it for another size. Never again will you have this problem, and here’s why.
Introducing Fittery, they claim to have solved this issue by analyzing your measurements and how companies sizes typically run. They tell you the best fit and size to wear for different companies. Sounds too good to be true? It’s real. I tested out there beta, and I am impressed. Take a look at how it works!
First of all, you’ll need a tape measure. Don’t have one? They send you one for free and it’s actually really nice! Not only do they take detailed measurements, they even have videos to show you how to measure it. Now, instead of googling ” How do you measure your seat?” they will show you! So after you enter all your measurements they analyze your results through some math that is way over my head. I included a list of all the measurements, also asked is height and weight and shirt fit preference, I love mine Slim or Extra Slim.
And now we wait, it only takes about 30 seconds for your results to load. They said they are working on the load times 🙂
2200 SHIRTS: SO MANY MATCHES!
So now we have to pick a shirt, I chose the Americano in Blue Chambray from Bonobos. The fits are broken up into how 4 parts: the collar, the arm length, the chest, and the waist. This detail helps you pick the best possible shirt. The overall rating is what you should go by, 5/5 means the shirt will look like it was custom made for you. I would only get shirts that are 4/5 stars or 5/5 stars. With so many options, finding suitable choices is so easy.
The Final Say:
Sign up for Fittery immediately, they have a good number of companies on board with them and I have no doubt they will grow to include so many more. Some of the companies are Express, Bonobos, Club Monaco, J. Crew, Topman, and Twillory just to name a few. Full list below! They are still in beta mode, by the end of beta they hope to have a “quick size” section where they use thousands of data points to match you to the right size with only a few questions!
